Harpers was established in 1974 shortly before the emergence of the specialist cable market as it is known. During this time Harpers became the first Belfast based company to introduce a large variety of screen and flexible control cables to suit customers requirements both in construction and in length.

Over a quarter of a century later, we continue to supply from an even wider range of cables for every conceivable application. Ranging from power distribution to data transmission, Harpers can provide a suitable cable for your business requirements.

Major investment as we approached the New Millennium saw the introduction of 'Flexform' as a sister company to Harpers. Harpers now deal solely with the distribution of specialist cables and accessories, while Flexform manufacturers an increasing range of cables including textile braiding for decorative finishes.

Our future will see greater exploration into custom cable design and short production run's. Production facilities onsite will keep turnaround time for orders to a minimum and allow us to experiment more with one-off orders.

Flexform is the manufacturing company of Harpers Ltd which has been established in the cable distribution business since 1974. Flexform initially acquired the coiled cable operation of Lucas Rists and later expanded into full cable production on the taking over the production assets of De Regt Cables Ireland
